What is the Wedding Buddy Package?

Want someone you love to stand beside you and lead your ceremony, but still want the reassurance that everything is done properly?

The Wedding Buddy Package is designed for couples who have a friend or family member they’d love to involve as their ceremony lead, but who isn’t a registered marriage celebrant. You bring the heart. I’ll take care of the legalities and the support behind the scenes.

I’ll manage all legal requirements before, during, and after the ceremony, ensuring your marriage is valid and stress-free. At the same time, I’ll work closely with your chosen person to help them confidently create and deliver a ceremony that feels natural, personal, and truly reflective of your relationship.

How it works

Your Wedding Buddy will be supported every step of the way: from shaping the ceremony structure to finding the right words and delivering them with calm confidence.

Your package includes:

• A complimentary introductory meeting

• All legal paperwork (completed by me)

• Legal components delivered by me on the day (in accordance with the Marriage Act 1961)

• Coaching and support for your chosen ceremony leader

• Ceremony templates to help shape the structure and flow

• Guidance documents to help you write meaningful, personal vows

• Support in crafting the full ceremony script

• Pre-wedding meeting with your buddy to review ceremony script, structure & timing

• Wedding Rehearsal (strongly recommended)

• Travel included

• Lodgement of all legal documentation with Births, Deaths and Marriages
